Background

My name is Tony Hanford and I am a psychotherapist working in private practise in Oxford

I have been practising psychotherapy for a number of years and have hundreds of hours of experience working with all kinds of people. I am a member of the BCAP (MBACP) and have full professional indemnity insurance.

Previous to setting up in private practise I worked for both the mental health charity Mind in a community counselling service and also for an NHS outpatient psychotherapy service in London, working with a wide range of clients and issues.

I have also worked for many years as a mental health support worker in both supported housing and community resource projects. Here I have worked primarily with people suffering with severe and enduring mental health problems (such as bipolar disorder and personality disorders.
